A link to the trance
Link was an old professional when it came to dungeoneering.
There was a pattern to how they were made, how they'd go on and be explored as Link had done enough of them throughout his career to recognize patterns when there was one to be found. A few keys to obtain, a master one for the fiercest monster or the guardian of the place, a map, a compass, a generally useful item or weapon to be obtained...things always worked out that way.
